This advanced course is designed for those who are experienced with QuickBooks (QBs) and who are looking for insight on how to deal with the more difficult issues that advanced users often face. The course includes coverage of techniques and features of which even advanced users are often not aware as well as useful workarounds for common problems. Some of the key topics covered are the best ways to exchange QBs data with others, inventory accounting issues and solutions, tracking and managing sales taxes, working with and resolving payroll issues, advanced financial and operational reporting matters, job costing, time tracking, and much more. In addition, a detailed discussion on troubleshooting QBs performance is included to ensure that your QBs installation is operating at peak performance. If you are an experienced QBs user and want to get more out of the product for your company and/or your clients, you need this course.

Creating customized financial statements with Intuit Statement Writer. Customizing forms. Importing and exporting data and transactions (including ODBC). Linking QB data to tax preparation. Solving advanced inventory issues such as fully-landed costing in QBs. Understanding advanced job costing issues, including advanced job cost reporting. Using QBs’ time and expense billing feature. Using the Accountant’s Copy function, Remote Access, and other tools for exchanging QBs data with others. Working with advanced payroll issues including accruing workers compensation liabilities.
