This course explores existing and new energy tax provisions galore and will benefit attendees both professionally and personally. Also explored is a plain English understanding of underlying energy technology.

How do you and will you energy-wise and tax-wise heat and cool your home and business and operate your vehicle? Where are we inevitably as a society and country heading with all of these energy choices?

A broad, across the board look at all energy tax incentive opportunities. How to distinguish the "low hanging fruit" tax breaks from the harder to get. Tax credits for energy-efficient improvements to existing homes §25C. Truth and fiction about solar economics, tax breaks and rebates. Vehicle energy tax breaks: get to the bottom line on where you are better off…And what in the dickens are the following and are they useful as a practical matter: Advanced energy investment credit §48C; Extension of renewable energy production tax credit §45; Investment tax credit in lieu of the production tax credit §45 and 48; Plug-in electric drive motor vehicle credit §30D; Tax credits for alternative fuel refueling property §30C…and many more!!
