Identify opportunities available through integration, valuable consulting services in practice management cost structure and collectionsand skills necessary to keep pace with the rapid changes in health care delivery. Learn the "ins and outs" of physicians' revenue recognition and business operations. Major emphasis will be on the Medicare RBRVS rules, changes in physicians' compensation, current developments in managed careand dealing with tax-exempt hospital based medical practices. Discuss practice operation, fraud prevention through appropriate controls, tax and practice valuation issues. Explore physician's HMO and PPO contract issues. Examine specimen contract provisions. This program is a MUST for the CPA providing specialized services to physicians.
