Errors in collecting, paying or reporting the tax can result in businesses incurring significant liability, not only for the tax, but for interest and penalties. This 4 hour seminar will provide a general overview of the application of sales and use tax to these types of businesses.

Specific issues to be addressed are; when tax is to be collected from the customer, when these business types owe tax on items and services consumed in the conduct of their particular business and reporting sales tax collected and use tax owed.
