Position Overview:

As a Senior Tax Preparer at Hamilton Associates, PC, you will play a crucial role in preparing tax returns, conducting tax planning meetings with clients, reviewing returns, and collaborating with our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients. The right candidate will move quickly into a Tax Management role with ownership potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review individual and business tax returns accurately and efficiently.
  • Conduct tax planning meetings with clients to optimize their financial strategies.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless workflow and client satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to provide informed advice to clients.
  • Assist in the training and development of junior team members.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive client information.

Qualifications:

  • CPA certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in tax preparation and planning.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
